Why Sulcata ("sull-CAH-tuh") Grove
Our nursery initially provided a special seed mix that could be planted to provide Sulcata Tortoises with the optimal nutrition as well as specialty plants for tortoises. In 2007, we moved to the edge of the Amazon jungle in the Pastaza province of Ecuador, South America. It was there, that our love for rare, tropical fruits grew. 
In 2011, we purchased property in Sarasota, FL where we now grow over 150 varieties of subtropical and tropical fruit trees, raise completely pastured chickens breeds from around the world, and house honeybees. In 2012, our resident Sulcata tortoises moved to our new location.
We do not use any pesticides.
